I love to cook. Eating is easier, though I often find it easier to eat scrumptious food when I cook it myself.
That said, I know that many of you don’t like to cook. In many instances, it comes down to not being prepared to cook (e.g. not having the ingredients on hand) and hating how long it can take to prepare and put a meal on the table (mise en place is a time saver, but I admit even I will often try to “wing it” rather than use this fundamental practice.
So when I saw this book, Stuff Every Cook Should Know by Joy Manning among my daily Bookbub “discounted books” selections, I immediately went to Amazon to check it out (unfortunately the hardcover is out of stock @ Bookshop, which supports indie bookstores). .
